Brooklyn has been home to creatives and entrepreneurs for a long time--but has recently grown as a place where venture-backed technology companies are growing to scale.  Etsy, Makerbot, Wireless Generation, Tunecore, and Pontiflex are just the start of a new generation of companies building on this side of the East River. 

But what role should Brooklyn play?   Is it just where the innovators live?  Is it a sidecar to Manhattan?  Is it its own community?  What support structures are needed to grow?  How does real estate play a factor?

This is a roundtable discussion where attendees will have a chance to contribute to solutions and strategies--so that hopefully we can walk away with the beginnings of a plan on building up the Brooklyn Innovation Community.
